newbie drain plug question

Member Posts: 1 Comments: 0 Joined: 06/16/13	I have a 16' SL 1992 that I bought used a month or so ago. Most of the drains are 1" and I have been able to find plugs for them. However, on the stern there are two drains, one on each side that are 1.5". One one side the drain leads to the battery compartment, on the other side it leads to the oil tank (I have a 2 stroke engine.) Where can I get plugs for these drains? The local marine store only has 1" and 1.25" plugs and can't even order other sizes. The fact that the standard plugs don't fit make me think that I need something entirely different or maybe I'm not supposed to plug these drains. Edited by Joe Kriz on 06/16/13 - 6:31 PM
