While cruising today with the fam, I realized that we have nowhere to put our drinks. I want to get a few rail mount cupholders to attach around the console of a Montauk.
Any recommendations? Something that looks OK, holds up well, and doesn't cost a fortune?
Thanks.

I would look for the ones that have/attached by suction cups, No holes drilled and when they break just get a new one. Another thought is attach one to your belt, The drink would never be out of reach....

Thanks Joe! I knew I saw those somewhere...on your console!
What size are the rails BTW, less than 1"?

Your rails are 7/8'.
Some later rails are 1".
Most rail mounts fit both 7/8" and 1" which these do.

My wife recently pointed out the same fact. I bought a cup holder from Cuda's Customs. No screw holes. I mounted mine on the vertical railing just to the left of the helm on my 18' Outrage. The cup holder will "twist" but it will not slide up and down. Have used it a couple of times and so far so good. I will probably order another one for the other side. They have a number of different styles. Only took a couple of days arrive in the mail.

I've found that exact holder listed at many different sites and none of them say what the mount is made of and they don't show a SS option.

The holder is made of plastic. It comes in two pieces that fit around the railing and is secured with two screws. I put a Tervis Tumbler in mine and it seems to be well built. I ordered directly from Cuda's Customs. http://www.cudascustoms.com/products.htm. There should be a 7/8 SS option.

After finally getting my boat back together enough to go for a ride this weekend, I am in the market for some drink holders. My passenger was surprised the boat didn't have any and even more surprised I wouldn't drill holes to install any. I like location that were in the images Joe provided. Hope it works for my Outrage.
