Hi there,

I have a bimini on my Whaler. The back of it attaches to a railing on each side of the boat, and each railing is screwed into the boat side.

The rail allows the back of the bimini to travel in a track.

Here's a picture of the rail I removed:

I cannot seem to find the *real* name of the rail so I can buy a replacement, as mine is bent.

Any ideas?

Thanks for your help!

Mike

That link is no good. Remember, secure files you can see, the general public may not be able to.

Sorry about that. Let's try this again.

Here's the pic:

A friend said it was a "bimini track" but if I search for 1992 16 SL Whaler bimini track, I cannot find the OEM part.

Any ideas?

That is the track that the main bow of the Bimini mounts to. "Bimini Track" make sense.

Are you sure that is a Whaler OE part? In 1992 I believe Wm J. Mills & Co. still made the canvas systems for Whaler. I'd call them:

But it is just track. I'm sure you could find any number of places. You can reuse the end fittings and slider; they are not damaged.

Great advice. Thanks, Tom!
