I have not seen this any images of this of seat in a classic Montauk before. Has anyone else? Maybe it goes to another model and the seller is confused?

The person selling that must have been smoking something or doesn't know much about Whalers.

Hey but he knows the Boston Whaler name might make him more money or at least he can ask more.

That actually is a Nauset "church pew" seat that is cooked and has had knees added to the ends of the bench and a 2x10 spreader added too.

There is not a scrap of wood there that is salvageable, unless you are looking for firewood.

That's exactly what I was wondering Tom, if the wood could be used on a different project...maybe a stern bench seat.
