I am in the process of getting a 1978 Low Profile restored. My question is do I stay with the reversible seat or go with a leaning post? I use the boat for bay fishing and like the idea of a leaning post, seems a little more practical but on the other hand I also like the idea of keeping everything original. Just wanted to get some input.
Ultimately, it is your boat and is probably better to have something that suits you.
You could always keep the RPS if you ever decided to sell the boat.
That way you could put it back in if that's what the new owner preferred.
