I have a 1988 17 Montauk that I am restoring. Under the console, there is a large oval shaped plastic gromet that surrounds the hole in the floor where all of the control cables/hoses go thru the floor. Mine is in several pieces. What is this piece called....floor gromet??? Can I get a replacement. I have searched but can not seem to find one. I also need the smaller one under the fuel tank. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks-
Download the Parts Manual in our Downloads section.
There you will see the photos and part numbers of the parts.
I don't think they are available any longer.
The Outrage 18 part manual shows it as #12133800 (Collar, Tunnel) for the one in and under the console.
Some models used a full collar and others used 1/2 of that same collar number. (or both)
I have one. I removed the floor from my Outrage console leaving 2 gromets, one for the deck and one for the console floor. The problem is I need to de-rig the steering and control to get it out. It's off white and in good condition if your're interested. It will cost you shipping and a can koozie from your favorite watering hole.
