The running light lens on the bow of my 1984 Montauk 17 has become crackled and cloudy. I purchased a replacement on e-bay but it is different. The lens on my boat is two pieces, red and green and there is a flange with screw holes. Anyone know of any source for a replacement?
I winter in Ft. Myers and summer in St. Joseph, Michigan. It’s now about 12 years since I’ve joined this group. I gave my 1972 whaler to my daughter and sold the 17’. Bought an O’Day 28 sailboat and sailed on Lake Michigan. Yesterday I bought a 2005 130 Sport.
Well, as usual, I engaged my mouth, er typing fingers, beforeI engaged my brain. While checking for the posting of my question I saw the Twin Cities Marine logo so I called them. While on the phone with Sue she sent me this photo, http://s1341.photobucket.com/albums/o...edia_share
and I identified the lens on the left as the one I need. She will get it in the mail. So al least I learned something.
