Can someone please educate me on Mills mooring covers for the 15? Are there different models for Sport, Supersport, etc., so they fit with the different rail and seating / console styles? Thanks!
Per a call I had with Mills recently, the cover will not fit the Striper 15 models with the pedestal seats in normal position - it was not clear if she meant the front seat only or both the front and rear seats. I ended up having a custom cover made locally - just completed this past week.
The original Mills mooring cover for the 15s will fit the Sport, Sport Center Console and Striper models. They make two covers, for boats with, or without, the bow rail option.
The mooring covers for the later classic 15 foot models gets a little more complicated. The Super Sport, Super Sport Limited, GLS and second generation GLS all have their own specific mooring cover and in the case of the GLS there are even different covers depending on how the boat is optioned.
I had a Mills Mooring cover for my 1979 Striper 15 and it fit like a glove.
