any advice where to purchase a top mount telefix morris MT3 twin engine control box and cables? I have a bw outrage 1974 19 ft. Many thanks

You can catch them on ebay sometimes at good prices. You just have to search often and jump on them when they come up.

many thanks for the responses Finally arrived at Telefx marine who manufacture the parts needed. Now to make the decsion to purchase the parts that meetthe need for my outrage. Heavily leaning to a MT3 open Control Twin and the new technolgy Xtreme cables.---not cheap, but will add a lot of relaxation to the shift and throttle task. I am a neophyte to restoration, but I am really enjoying it. BWO

That is exactly what I am using on my Whaler - the twin Morse control (with upgraded knobs) with Teleflex Xtreme cables. They are the best I have ever used, and I recommend them highly. This control is so smooth it's like DTS.

You will need separate power trim panels also, and I will say that they are not quite as convenient as having the buttons in the handle. But the super smooth classic Morse control is worth it in my opinion.
