Hello all happy new year. Much to my surprise, my whaler made it through sandy without a scratch. Might have been one of the only boats at the marina where it was during the storm. I'm not embarrassed to say it was a very emotional moment when I finally was able to get to it after the storm. It was almost like mine was in a bubble. Sounds so selfish when I know so many lost all.

Anyway. The only damage was when someone pulled my stern light out and pulled the wires off the socket. How do I rescuer the wires to the existing socket or replace it. Thanks for any help.

Just buy a new Perko socket assembly (Fig. # 0024DP1) for a few dollars and splice it in.

The 0024DP1 has 10 inch pigtail wiring

The 0024DP2 has 60 inch pigtail so you wouldn't have to splice.
