I am looking for original 1988 & 1989 Boston Whaler Boat Brochures. I already have Tom Clark's Whaler Disc, but I would also like original Brochures if anyone knows who may have them. I have checked E Bay, but missed a recent bid.
Thank You, Steve Black

There was no catalog or brochure in 1989. There was a 1990 Boston Whaler catalog. In the 1980s Whaler published full-line catalogs only every other year.
I have an original 1990 Boston Whaler catalog I might be willing to sell if the price were right.

Tom, did they print one in 1977? I'd love to locate one for my Montauk.

Yes, they did. In the 1970s there was a new catalog every year.

Thanks Tom. I just clarified on the year that I am looking for with your DVD which eveyone who is a Whaler Central Memeber should own as a pre requisite in my humble opinon as it shows you everything you would ever need to know about all of the Classic Whaler Models. I am looking for the 1988 Brochure as I am interested in a 27 Regular Cabin WD Model as my last boat. I love my 25 Revenge, but I need more room since we are offshore and away from port for up to 7 days and if I was crazy enough, I could possibly consider a Summer trip down to Cedros Island, 300 miles South of San Diego as long as the boat had the 310 gallon capacity...but that's my ultimate ambition/dream.
I just spent 6 days at both Bahia Santo Tomas (great bottom fishing), and also 3 days at the Hotel Coral (Ensenada) to fill up with gas ($3/gallon) and get more ice as we opted to run South rather than West to San Clemente Island. The trip was a total of 6 days & 325 miles total. I just need more room & comfort.
If anyone knows where I can find a 1988 Brochure on top of Tom's AWESOME CDs, please let me know by all means & thank you all for your responses.
With Appreciation,
Steve

1988 was, in my opinion, the greatest Boston Whaler catalog ever produced.

I know! And the boats were also nice that year. It was the end of the Whaler Plant in Rockland. I know there are some hanging around in someone's files somewhere in the States...I just have to sniff one out. I think i'll call Sue @ Twin Cities.
Please contact me if you eve get wind of one. I now have two of your CD's that are great. I just want a physical copy.
Thanks Tom,
Steve

I have seen the 1988 catalogs sell from $40 to $80 on eBay.
The 1988 catalog was the first in my collection back in 1988.
I also think it was the best catalog from that time period.
Keep looking as it will eventually turn up for sale somewhere.
