I have an original set of Lee's Outriggers, including the curved tubes. I want to replace the poles and am having a terrible time getting the old ones free.

So far I have pored on the PB Blaster and let it sit with out lock
Cut the tubes off and then cut them into sections, still no luck

Any suggestions?

Are you talking about the Outrigger Mount?

Or the Outrigger rod holes in the gunwales?

And the tubes are stuck in the outrigger gunnel mounts?

These tubes don't fit in the regular rod holders, do they?

for some reason i can't edit the post,
It should read Lee's Outriggers, not rod holders
sorry for the confusion. I will post pictures when it stops raining.

You are talking about removing the poles from the holders correct, I would purchase a tinfoil pan for roasting turkeys and lay the tubes and holders in the pan and cover (fill the pan with marvel mystery oil ) and let it soak for a couple of days. The poles were aluminum, holders are either chrome over brass or stainless and the salt got between the poles and holders and expanded. The oil should eat the salt and hopefully you can pull them apart...good luck
