Member Posts: 32 Comments: 0 Joined: 06/28/11	I just wanted to let you all know that I found and mounted the perfect swim platform/ladder on my 1988 17' Mountauk. I purchased it from Raymond at MartinMarine Design. Laying out exactly where to mount it on the Port side stern was a little trick. But overall a perfect fit and finish. I will attempt to get pictures on the Fourth of July while I am out in the boat to share. Great service, thank you Raymond. Wonderful product.

I am 6'3" 260 lbs and I use it all the time. There is some initial sticker shock but once you climb into your boat with ease you will have a short memory of the money you spent.

Any doubts I may have had about about this decision have vanished. It does not affect normal operation of the boat, and climbing aboard the boat from the water is now extremely easy.

I am no small man, and this thing is strong and very sturdy. It sits just above the water while the boat sitts in the water so it gets no growth. The ladder is GREAT with 3 rungs. It looks like its supposed to be there. The only minor issue I have had is that the ladder rattles a big at idle, a small bungee cord took care of that.
