I still have not been able to find an oroginal bow light for my '65 Nauset, so I purchased a replacement lens off of eBay. What I received was red and blue rather than red and green. What's with that? Is the blue lens even legal? It sure ain't original!
Blue? No, that is not legal. It must be green and red. If the lens you bought is new old stock (NOS) it may simply be that the green has faded over the last forty years. I have seen that on old boats.
I have two original bow lights from 1960s era Whalers, freshly re-chromed.
