I have a 1997 dauntless 20' dual console. I was wondering How to tell if my fuel tank if fiberglass or aluminum or something else. Hull I'd number is on my page. Thank you.

I would think it would be Aluminum.

It is either aluminum or plastic.

Boston Whaler never installed fiberglass above or under deck fuel tanks.

It is polyethylene plastic.

polyethylene plastic uh? that should last forever, is there any draw back to the plastic?
