OEM cushions for 15 CC

Member Personal Page Posts: 252 Comments: 0 Joined: 08/26/08	Just wondering if the original rear seat cushion on my 1984 CC was white. I need to replace it and I like the look of the one offered by Specialty Marine (BS-1-1). If the original color was parchment, that's what I'd order. Otherwise I may just get the white. Anyone know, or have a bias towards one color or the other? I'm not a stickler for original restoration. In fact, when I replaced my wood I made my seat back 12" tall and changed the angle to be more comfortable. (That little pissant seat back that was in there always seemed like an afterthought to me! lol) I need a new seat back cushion also, but Specialty Marine doesn't make the correct one for my boat. From what I can tell, the wrap-around railing causes the seat back to be shorter than the 54" seat. They don't offer it and they won't do "custom" orders. I'm considering putting a 52" cushion on there and maybe having it modified locally to actually fit better. On a side note, the only photo of a 15 Sport CC has a thwart in front of the console. Mine doesn't have it and I won't add one since I like to walk through there all the time. Just wondering if mine was removed at some point or maybe that seat was a factory or aftermarket option? many thanks Ted 1985 15' CC, 1994 60 hp Merc (Wednesday built), 5" jack plate

BTW, I'll try to get a shot of my boat in the water this month that's comparable to the one other 15 CC Sport that's in the Models section.
