Montauk Console Mounting Bracket

Member Personal Page Posts: 122 Comments: 1 Joined: 12/03/07	I have a new, uncut Montauk console of the 1986-1990 version. From photos it looks like the mounting bracket is just a right angle strip of metal. Is it aluminum or stainless? Or am I totally wrong. I'm either looking for a general description or a source of parts. Thanks! Jeff

I'll start by talking to my Whaler dealer to see if these are still available. If not, I just got my leaning post back from an aluminum welder who does great work for reasonable prices. I'm sure he'll be able to knock out something to Tom's dimensions. Thanks!
