Recently bought this on eBay, hasn't gotten here yet but was described as new in box (box was pictured too). Rather than embarrass myself telling the price - if it is really in new condition - what is it worth? BTW - not for sale.

The 1973 Boston Whaler catalog and price lists shows it was available for $25.00

Obviously the prices have gone up through the years.

Where does the 15 come from in your title?
I have only known it to be called a "Ritchie Compass"...

I have seen them sell in excess of $200.

I paid 160 and it was, in fact, brand new in the original box with the mounting plate, light and gasket all there! I can't wait to add it to the boat.

That's not bad in today's market.
Brand new in the box is difficult to find these days.

I'm always a little worried on eBay and more than a little leery of the descriptions - this was as advertised 100%.

So, you're the one who "stole" my Explorer from me! ;-)

I was gonna put it on my old Menemsha. What are you going to use it on?

Cheers,

Perry

All is fair in love, war and eBay ;-) Going on my 89 Montauk that I just bought in Feb and repowered with a Yamaha 70 4 stroke. Going to keep it at our vacation place in NC (did I say NC? I meant to say Iowa, or is it NJ... I don't know where it is).
