There is an option for a front mounted fishing seat for the 130 SS listed on BW.com. Looks pretty cool and has a side mount bracket.
Where could I get one of these?
Would there be a source that might discount it?
All I can find is that it's supose to be an available option/Accessory but I can find no info on where to purchase it or how much it costs.

Then click the options tab and then go to Fishing then click on the fishing seat it will show a picture of it.
I know this is kind of an old post but I just noticed it. The price on Whaler's website for the seat is $360. Just go to the 130 SS portion of the website and select BUILD THIS BOAT. It's one of the listed options. I assume the price to buy it after the fact is similar. However, you can buy the s-shaped post (looks like an Attwood Marine 7153-T-SS, see www.attwoodmarine.com/store/product/3/4--Pin-Posts--Fixed-Height) and whatever seat you want from your favorite supplier. HOWEVER, I have yet to be able to find the side-mount bracket that the post sits in. It may be a custom piece for Whaler. You could always call Whaler to see if they will sell you just the bracket.
I was able to get the bracket from a Whaler Dealer. $160 but well worth it. When I got it, it said 'Atwood" on it, but it does not seem to be available from Atwood or atwood distributor. Anyway Problem solved.
