A little update.

From the response of our members and discussing this with the other WhalerCentral administrators, we have decided to decline the offer for the posters.
It was a nice gesture but we don't need anything.

We are going to leave any decision to add credit(s) for WhalerCentral.com on their web page and the calendar up to Brunswick/Whaler.

If they want to do the right thing, then I think they would add WhalerCentral.com to the credits for helping them out and judging the photos for the 50th Anniversary of Boston Whaler.

If no changes are made to their website and calendar to include us, then that will be entirely their decision.

Whatever the outcome, we will continue to do our best to provide parts photos, drawings, and information etc., about Boston Whaler boats, that is not found anywhere else on the Internet.

The entire staff of WhalerCentral.com wants to let our members know that we do appreciate you. Without you, the members, this site would not be what it is today. 6,727 members and still rapidly growing. Thank You Members for your support and your participation on this site......

Excellent. I hate controversy, but it is great to see Joe and WC get the credit they deserve.

It's good to see that they are correcting the oversight.
This certainly says a lot for the company and that they do listen to their fans.

Their website page is a great start and hopefully they will correct the calendars.

Attached below is a photo of the revised web page with the addition of the credits to both WhalerCentral.com and continuousWave.com which were both involved in judging the contest.

Thank You Boston Whaler/Brunswick for being fair and making things equal for all parties involved.

When I saw it, I placed an order for the calendar. I am sure they are already in print but when a large lumbering corporation can resond that quickly to our concerns, I think there is hope and they can be supported.

Now if they can just explain why there is over $9 shipping and handling cost on a $12 calendar..... geeezzzz.

I have been informed that the calendars have already been printed.

There will be no changes to the current printed calendar.

If there is a need for more calendars in the future, then they said the changes would be made.

Well, I guess they corrected the problem but why not have a link on their website that can take them directly to Whaler Central? Just a thought.

Mike has a great idea.
But I got a feeling that won't happen.
Great Idea though.
I find whaler central is a must, if you are a boating fanatic whaler owner or not.
The knowledge base here is huge!

This speaks volumes about both your love of Whalers and desire to share and spread the wealth of information about them - without ulterior motive.

You're a class act, Joe. Thanks.
