What about cool summer T's ... That logo would be very nice on the back of a white T

JVC,

There have been several people asking about T-Shirts and it is a good idea.
We are looking more into it.

We think the logo attached below might look good on the front of the T-Shirt on the left chest.

And maybe something else on the back.
A few people have submitted some ideas so we are looking at all the options.

I may as well make my suggestions early.

1. I've noted lately that as we reach certain ages we need 2+ pairs of eyewear and rarely buy a shirt without a pocket to carry our readers. Or whichever pair we're not wearing.

2. Along with reaching these certain ages we tend to shrink a bit in stature and unfortunately the missing height seems to be making us more round.

I'll need doubleXL's, maybe even tripleXL's at the rate I'm going, with pockets over the left chest.Grin

The only concern I have is with over 4,000 registered people here... who's funding the carrying of inventory? This won't be like having some extra cool foam key chains around in a little box.

Peter

T-Shirts are something Joe and I have discussed. It is something I have done a bit of work on but have not had the time to complete. I would like to do the WC logo and tag on the front and something else on the back. Maybe one of my line drawings of a whaler hull or maybe just an other logo. If you had to pick a hull that every one could agree on which hull would it be (not a question that needs answering here)? It still needs to be sorted out but, rest assured there will be goodies coming.

Here is a seek pick at my latest hull drawing. I am doing this one special for a guy who's boats I have always admired. This is a very early drawing and it has been refined much more. I will post it after I am able to show it to the person I did it for.

I would love to have the Whaler Central logo as Joe suggested on the left chest ... and a line drawing of my 18 Outrage on the back. Pocket optional, individual preference.

I would be happy to pay Jeff for a custom line drawing of my boat and pay Joe (the site)for the use of the WC logo, have a few made locally and everyone could have their own custom shirts.

A lot less work for the staff .....maybe a lot of work for Jeff .... whatdayathink ?

JVC,

I agree. I like that too and we have been talking more about the T-Shirts.
I would like the logo on the front and the line drawing of an Outrage on the back.

It is going to be hard to stock every design for the people that want something different on the back.

Even if we just have one T-Shirt, in one color, one logo design, NO pocket (or with pocket), that still means a lot of T-Shirts to stock:
Small
Medium
Large
X Large
XX Large
XXX Large

I don't think any of us have seen "S" since we were born. Heck, I haven't even seen "L" since High School. But, there still might be a need for "S" for some of the kids....

We are still thinking about the T-Shirts, but what about something that "One Size Fits All" ?

How about a MuuMuu ? Shock
-----------------------------------

Seriously, what about hats?
One size fits all and the logo on the front.
Easy to stock and no special orders....
Not everyone wears hats, but I am guessing that most people that boat in the sun, or fish, do wear hats...

I have a source for cutting vinyl now as well so do can start making WC decals... The shirts are on my list I can see doing a run of just WC shirts and if there is a want for customs I think I have source that can quickly make them.

I would put my vote for Jeff's line drawing of the classic Outrage on the back of the shirt - Beautiful work Jeff!

Hats are a good idea too. And of course we all need decals. Smile

I would LOVE to see a drawing of the "SLED" (15' sport) but, any whaler design would do (How bout the classic 17' Montauk) on the back. Offering very bright colors for the hats and t-shirts would also keep our member's safer out on the water, with higher visability (important to us who have small boats), just my 2 cents.

I would buy one.
But since I am suc a new bee I will limit my ideas.
However the web address might be a good idea somewhere.
This would lead people here.
And not make them think it is like bass pro, west marine ect.

Look for something for WhalerCentral coming in the next couple months.

I am also going to be starting my own line of whaler gear as well. I will be selling shirts sweat shirts, flags, posters, and stickers with art work that I have created already and I will be also doing some custom work. So if you have an image of your boat and want me to create a custom design from that image I can do it from a fee.

i vote for T-shirts with WC logo on front left breast and possibly same on back but larger or whatever the general consensous is.

if its going to be a sketch of a hull, i would vote Outrage!

a pocket on the front is fine with me, makes no difference with or without.

colors? : no dayglo colors! prefer white or lite grey to reflect the sun.

count me in for a minimum of one shirt, in size XL of course!

maybe an option would be to do a small to medium sized (quantity) run of shirts with a sketch of one model hull on the back. if they move fast, then a second run could be done with a different model on the back. just an idea

hey guys go to http://www.Printfection.com

I have shirts for my website through them. You pay nothing!!!!!!!!! It just cost for the customer to buy a shirt and you set how much money you get back in your pocket.

easy way to get everyone t-shirts. and just set the return to zero so no one makes any money or set it to $1 dollar as a donation to the site.

I'd like the whaler logo (with permission), small, over the pocket, and on the back "ain't nothing like it." It would also be nice in a mumu version.

Thanks Her's, But, I am working on something similar with cafepress. I am hoping to have it soon and you will be able to get more than just shirts. I hope to have it so one can get WhalerCentral on everything from Sweatshirts, Stickers, magnets, buttons, bags, mouse pads, mugs, bbq aprons, messenger bags, hats, License Plate Frames, boxer shorts!?!, etc.

Also what about a calender? Yup we could do that too.
