I would like to add a bow seat for fishing to my Whaler. I've seen a pedestal type bow seat that attaches to the aft area of the anchor hatch but having problems tracking that part down. I'm also considering adding some kind of back rest to the standard bench seat. Can anyone lead me to the parts/ideas that may have already been shared by this forum? I'm having trouble finding information via the search engine.

Are you looking for he pedestal mount that attaches to the vertical part of the anchor hatch rather than the kind where you have to cut a hole in the cover to mount the mount. Hope this makes since

Yes, that kind made sense to me, I hate cutting holes in any boat if there is another way to do it. Do you know a vendor?

That new version is what I'm looking for. Unfortunately the old (2011) post doesn't answer the question about where it can be purchased. I've been doing google searches and can't find it. Do you have an idea where I can find that seat?

Thanks Joe! I'll call up a dealer for a price. It looks like that is the only way to get the info. I've scoured the web and there doesn't seem to be another comparable product out there.
I'm preparing myself for sticker shock.

Or $70.
I already have a Yeti knock-off cooler so my friends may be enjoying this seat instead.

It will help to keep my little 15' deck clean too.

The pedestal seat is not really a passenger seat.
The tag says not to sit on while underway.

That sounds right, I received information from my local BW dealer. $176 for mount and $364 for the seat and pedestal. Over $500 is getting out of my price range but maybe this info could help other whaler owners considering the seat.
I have decided to fasten my RTIC cooler in front of the center console (yes, I did misidentify the make of my boat,it is a CC 15 Sport not SS), snap down the original BW butt cushion (from original cooler) to the RTIC and add a good cushion between the console and the cooler for a back rest/windshield protector. That will cost a lot less than $500. More money for bait, gas and beer.
