There is a group of whaler owners in the Northern MA, coastal NH, and Southern Maine area that do get togethers and we are looking for more members. Over the years we have done: Piscatisqua River Lake Winnipesaukee Isle of Shoals Merrimack River York River Regardless of where you live, if you are interesting in getting information on these trips, please let me know. This summer will see very little of me on the job as I have secured 4 day weekends for the summer per my crews request.

I live in Portland and go to Sebago and the surrounding lakes all the time. It's a beautiful area. We should try to set one up on Sebago. It's a nice big lake with plenty of space to cruise around and lots of great spots to beach up (the spit or the sandbar) or raft up. Otherwise, Casco Bay in Portland is awesome too. There are tons of little islands for day trips, eating lunch/cooking out and camping etc. Some even have little sandy beaches you can have all to yourselves. Anyone else from Portland area?
