FAQ: Photo and Project Albums
How do I start a Photo or Project Album

Before starting a Photo or Project album the member must already have a Personal Page here on WhalerCentral.
We need to make sure a member can handle creating and maintaining a personal page before moving up to a photo or project album.

Once you get near the maximum amount of 30 photos in your personal page, here are the next steps for moving up to the photo and project albums.

1. Email me one of the best photos depicting your project or photo album. All that is needed is 1 photo. Please do not submit more than 1 photo.
2. All photos must have a title.
Include a short title for the photo or project (the shorter the better). 4 words maximum for a title.
3. All photos must have a description.
Include a description of what the photo represents or what you are working on.
4. At the bottom of the description, let us know whether you are submitting this as a photo album or a project album. (this will be removed when the album is created)

Photo albums are for unusual and different items pertaining to Boston Whaler boats along with rendezvous, boat shows, etc...
Project albums are for certain projects you are working on.
A member can have more than one project or photo album as long as they are not of the same thing.

After you submit the photo, a short title, and a description, we will review the submission and then create the album for you.
Once the album is created, you may see a new link under your name in the right sidebar titled either "My Photo Albums" or "My Project Albums". The link will show only if you ask and will only be there for a short time period.
Click on that link to enter your album and start adding to, or editing, your album.
Important: Do not forget to add a short title to each and every photo along with a description of what you are doing in the photo.

Photos for these albums should be 960x720 in pixel size. Please, no smaller than 640x480 as any smaller will not be of much help to the viewer.
