Boston Whaler - The transom is empty!
Miracle happens! All of the plywood from the transom has disappeared.

From this picture, you can see remaining rubber bands; Boston Whaler attached foam to the wooden transom with rubber bands during the manufacturing process. I do not know why, as a guess; it was to provide some wiggle room for the hull and deck sections coming together and prevent the hull foam from displacing the transom during the pour.
