Boston Whaler - Cutting Out Floor Patch
Once I had made the decision to go this route it started to make a bunch of sense. I had not figured a good method to remove all the crazing and spider cracks from the non-skid areas of the floor. I figured I was going to have to grind out all of it and come up with a good method the get it back down. It made more sense to just remove the entire non-skid surface and plan to replace the floor -- I already had such a big hole in the floor from the patch I had to cut out. This also exposed a ton of surface that I could bake in the sun to help remove water from the hull.
