Again, this photo is taken prior to curving the middle portion of the top of the seat back. Also note that all straight seat back 1x4s are screwed into each of the 5 support 1x4s using 1 3/4" ss screws with oval heads and finish washers.

With regard to the positioning of the support members, I used the following logic:
1. The middle member is located dead center of each surface member.
2. The end support members are approximately two inches from the end of the surface members.
3. The remaining support members are centered between the end support member and the middle support member.
4. Again, no glue was used.
