Hey guys,

I have a 1980 15' Sport that I've restored, including the mahogany. Since my two car garage is occupied by my wife's car and junk, I don't have the luxury of putting it there so tree debris, mold, etc. are a constant problem here in the NC forest. Where is the best place to get a cover for this particular Whaler? It has bow rails, which is kind of throwing me off. A lot of covers are available for this length boat but most are for CCs and don't allow for the bow rail. If any of you are 15' Sport owners and are happy with your cover, I'd love to hear about it.

Thanks,

Scott

Any luck with finding a cover?

Does anyone have a suggestion for a pre-made cover out in whaler land?

The taylor made ones offer plenty of options but want to be sure before I pull the plug.

Not interested in a $900 mills cover, thank you.

Awesome deals here, anyone know if any of these will fit a 15 sport with bow and side rails?

I have a 15ss, and a pine tree nearby. I made up a support using 2" pvc pipe. Has 3 verticle pipes, 1 just forward of splashwell, 2nd between the console and rear bench, third on the bow. Front at rear have 90's at the top and connect in the middle with a T to the center post. Bottom of each verticle has a t, and 1ft horizontals to keep it steady. I place it in the boat, and pull a $15 Wal Mart grey tarp over it and bungee it to the trailer. Off in 2 min, on in 5! The "tent" support keeps water from collecting also. I wrapped the "legs" in indoor/ourdoor carpet to protect the deck. Works like a champ and I have about $40 into it!
