Alright, trying to restore my Grandfather’s 1982 sport 13. The boats interior was dismantled many years ago and I can't find the black plastic trim ring that went in-between the steering wheel (at angle) and the flat wood on the console. Anyone know of a source for this piece?
Also would like the opinion and first hand experience of both Specialty Marine and Nautical Lumber for my new wood interior. Specialty seems to be just a bit less expensive and also comes with new SS hardware. Is the extra cost and lack of hardware worth the extra funds for the Nautical pieces. I have read many great reviews and experiences with both companies, just trying to pick which brand to buy. (Also like the MADE IN USA of Nautical)
I am sure this is just one of many solicitations to come and I really appreciate your website and its members for their passion for these great boats.

Mike from Nautical Lumber is sending me an interior for my 15' Supersport. He's the best. I've spoken to people that got their's from Specialty Marine and had problems with the wood dimensions. You should be able to get the trim ring from Teleflex.

You need a "Teleflex 20 degree bezel." If you Google those four words you should see several venders.
I have purchased several items including a Super Sport interior from Specialty and all items came very quickly from California and I'm on the east coast. The wood looks great and the dimensions are correct. Both venders are sponsors of this site and I appreciate that.

Specialty Marine doen'nt put but a few coats of varnish on the mahogany. If you get it from them you will need to add more.
