Felt that horrible stern vibration during a nice late evening run up the lake - lost 2/3s of a balde and had a long ride in.
Any recommendations for a replacement for a 94 Dauntless 15 w/94 70 HP Johnson? Need to order one quick before vacation in 12 days.

I guess there's still a few questions that still need to be answered before anyone can advise you. What size prop do you have on it now and are you happy with it's performance? What are you using the boat for, skiing and tubing, cruising, etc.?

The motor came with a Balistic prop that I'll need to pull off to check the size. I have thought the prop was over sized, but do not have a reliable tach to confirm. My uses are fishing and crusing.

I recommend a 13-1/4" x 15" Stiletto Advantage 4.25 or a 13-7/8" x 17" OMC/BRP SST/Viper.

Loosing two thirds of a blade is reason #365 why aluminum props suck and should be avoided.

Thanks Tom for a well respected recommendation. Which size will give a little more stern lift? The boat tends to porpoise with minimal trimming.

Neither are known as stern lifters.

You would do better to raise the motor on the transom to reduce porpoisiung. The Stiletto will tolerate a higher motor mounting height.

I'm not sure about the Dauntless 15, but I suspect the motor could be two or three holes up with the Stiletto Advantage.

Thanks again Tom. I ordered the recommended Stiletto.
