Hello W/C and hope all are doing well.
I am trying to confirm the mounting hole pattern (dimensions) for my 2007 Yamaha 90 2-stroke P/T bracket to transom.
I found a tech article that mentions a B.I.A. standard of: 12-7/8 in. (on-centers) for top position and 9-7/8 in. (on-centers) for bottom position. Are these dimensions correct and do they apply to my Yamaha 90?
I am inquiring about these dimensions because it appears I will be machining a pair of custom transom saver plates for my Dauntless 15.
This weekend I removed the access cover located in the splash well that gives you access to the lower motor fasteners to check for water intrusion. It seems some moisture did get through but not to much.
What I did notice was that the boat shop that originally rigged the Yamaha onto the Dauntless may have over-torqued those lower motor bolts a bit much. The immediate transom area around the stainless fender washers they used has distorted some so I will attempt to correct this condition with my fabricated parts.
Any help regarding the dimensions will be greatly appreciated.

I have the same problem with my outrage. The top bolts were torqued too much so I purchased this to correct the problem
