Hi,,
Kind of a odd question. My whaler came with a very good quality cover that looks like it belongs on the boat. For support i has a whole in the front and one in the rear that you can put a post of some kind . The old post were made of 1/2 emt conduit. On the top is a piece of plastic tip that goes into the conduit and then sticks thru the cover. It is broken off and i cant for the life of me find where these come from? Im an electrician so i know for sure its conduit but i can not find the end? Any help Joe

Have you looked through the Bimini top parts at West Marine? Their super support poles on page 712 of the 2010 catalog sounds like what you are describing. They are made by Taylor made products so you might be able to get a replacement tip from them.

Bimini top - sway.
I tend to put my Bimini up it's it's boot still on, but notice an alarming about of side to side sway at times. This must be causing a lot of stress on the screws and the material they are in.
Has anyone and ideas or products to prevent this sawy? It needs some sort of foam bushing or rubber in there to stop the side to side. There is about an inch between the upright and the side railing.
I'll hit the DIY stores but maybe someone has a good solution.
Thanks -
