I have the chance to buy a late 80's Montauk Console. . I've been looking for such a console for a while now. The console is in great condition and is complete with all teak/locks/drawers, ss steering wheel and helm, windshield and grab rail. The console seems to be in great condition. What's a good price for something like that?

Anything less than $1000 would be a great deal if it is as described.

I paid 500 for one that everything was beat up on and I still think I got a good deal.

Well, I bought it for $650. . It's in great shape other than a little dirt and the teak needs to be refinished(which I actually love to do) so everything worked out well.
When I bought my montauk it had a Todd aftermarket console on it. . .it just looked like crap. This will be the last peice to the montauk puzzle that my father and I have been working on for two years. I'll have to post pics when everything is finished.

I have some pics of the console I'd like to post. . .I'd really like to start a project album but I don't know how.
I've tried the "submit a photo" link on the left side but It will only let me submit to "OEM Parts Photos". Help?? Thanks in advance.
