Is there any difference in the hulls of an 1985 and an 1989 Outrage?
I mean besides small stuff like storage placement, are the Hulls the same shape, weight and size?
I ask because the 1989's look like they brought the nose of the boat up a little higher. Am I just seeing stuff?

No, there is no difference, storage compartment-wise or otherwise.

An excellent choice. Watch out for hull cracks amidships at the fuel fill vent. This was a problem on 25s that were run hard. There is a factory repair bulletin for fixing this if it happens, but the repair is not pretty.

Is this factory repair bulletin (on the fuel fill vent) online somewhere?

Backriverexpress,
Have you found a 25 Outrage? Regarding the crack around the fuel vent. I believe this occurred on a few of the older 25's but wasn't widely reported..

jsneed,
I do not know of an online version of the repair bulletin. I have a facsimile copy of it if you are interested.
