Bristol Finish
Has any one used this stuff on theier teak? It looks pretty handy but I dont know anyone who has used it.
If not what varnish/oil do you recomend?
Keep in mind I'm taling low/no maintanace

I don't have first hand experience but I certainly plan to use Bristol Finish. There is a Whaler Fanatic I know and respect that has used it and absolutely loves it on his whaler. He goes by the name kingfish, although I have not seen him around this site yet.
I refinish furniture as a hobby and quite often mix up my own concoctions. But for my homemade outdoor furniture I plan on using the Bristol Finish.
Assuming there is some left after my Whaler is done;)

I used (2) coats of Bristol Finish as base coats on my new cosole & seat . I then put on (6) coats of Epithanes varnish. I used thes Bristol Finish as it went on quickly and seemed to flow very evenly. I would highly recommend using it.

I've used it and found: (1) it gives a varnish look-alike finish; (2) it requires fewer coats on new or clear wood -- 4 or 5 instead of 6 - 10; (3) it wears like iron; and (4) in subsequent years it only requires very soft sanding and 1, maybe 2 coats to again look like new. It is vital however, that you follow the directions on the can very closely, particularly regarding mixing small amounts so mixture doesn't start to dry/lump in your bucket and then streak when applied.
