Thread subject: Whaler Central - Boston Whaler Boat Information and Photos :: Alternative to clamp block for teleflex steering on 69 13'

As preventative maintenance I want to replace the badly rusted clamp block on the 1969 13' recently purchased.
The motor is a Nissan 30hp 1992. The current arrangement
does not allow much tilt of the motor, so if there is an alternative now would be the time to consider.
The replacement clamp block is approx. $100.00
If the alternative is equivolent , that would be good.
