Hi,

I'm going to buy the engine manual, as it is time to replace the water pump (every two years). I used to have an 1987 OMC 48 SPL on the boat, and I always changed out the water pump myself, is it similar to my old engine, or is it a whole new animal, from the outside it looks the same.

Thank You,

mw (Matt Whalen)

Oh yea, almost forgot, "Mrs. Whalen" pointed out that there will be an addition to the "Whalen Family", my Jaw hit the ground, (I pretty much figured out what caused this surprise) then I pointed out that we will have to move up to the "17' Montauk", she said without hesitation " Absolutely", with "THAT" secured, THEN I rolled back on my heels and fainted!

Matt,

Congratulations. I hope you have recovered from your fainting spell.
Did you faint from learning you are having a child or did you faint because your wife said you could buy a Montauk? :)

If there is possibly going to be more children in the future, explain to her you probably should just go ahead and buy an Outrage 18' now so it will be ready for the future little Whalen's......

Good Luck on all your endeavors....

Matt,

Congratulations.

The water pump replacement will be very similar to the process you already know.

Thank You Men ! I will have a really hard time, when I have to sell the 15' sport :( it's like "Pee Wee's" Bicycle to me. It's really perfect for the west end Bays of southern Long Island, I would'nt put "My Crew" in anything but, a Boston Whaler !
