Thread subject: Whaler Central - Boston Whaler Boat Information and Photos :: Cooler cleats

All the cooler cleats I've seen are the teak ones. The cleats on my outrage are plastic. Did BW make two types?

EDIT:
Kevin, I removed those links because an audio tape came on and wanted me to look for sexy singles.
Another reason WhalerCentral hates offsite links...

Kevin,

You definitely need a pair of my teak cooler cleats, to the best of my knowledge BW never used plastic cleats on boats of your vintage.

Blackduck is correct.

Whaler did make the cleats in a plastic/resin like material but they did not start them till 1990 or 1991. I have them on my 1991 (manufactured in 1990) Outrage 17.
