I have a question: on the boat, which is still not ion the water, we have a microwave and an electric stove!1
the question is can we use the stove either with the electricity (when we are in the harbour) and with the butane while I am fishing??? I would like to cook some good SPAGHETTI while fishing!!!
Is this possible ? if so , can help me in founding the butane tank!!??? where is it?
If you some other suggestions please let me know!!!

Luca,
All of the marine stoves I have used are not butane. They all have been alcohol and electric. I am not sure if the stove on the Conquest is a dual heat stove.
I have always used the stove when powered by electricity (2 times) because I have been on boats that used the stove using alcohol. The alcohol and other fuels will leave the cabin with an odor I can not stand after just one use. Even with electricity depending on what you are cooking it will leave an odor. To each their own but I would not want my cabin smeeling like an old kitchen. Plus cooking on the boat always worried me. I can not image a fire breaking out on the boat while miles away from shore.
If you are looking for the fuel tank there might not be one on the boat. You might have to buy one and it should connect under the stove probably in a cabinet.
An other thing is using the stove while under way. This is a tight task even with the boat sitting at the dock. I could not imagine cooking while underway even trolling.

Dear Jeff,
thank you for repling.
I indeed agree with you regarding the smeeling in the kitchen and the worries for cooking inn the boat, but I live in Italy and I go trolling in the Mediterrean sea.Often here the sea is complitly calm and the surface is completly flat,
During this occasion, while I am fishing with friends, it would be nice to cook an easy Tomato spaghetti with my single electric stove,
Now, the problem is that fishing at only 1,5 speed knot using only one of the two 225 HP Verado Engine on the boat it is impossible to use the electric stove.
If I use it with batteries I will consume them immediately.
The only think I can immagine is to buy and use a generator ( I was thinking about the Honda one for 1 Kilowatt) ....
What do you think about this?
Do you agrre with me ? Have you any other suggestions?
I do not want neither to buy and nor to use a alchool or butane stove, either for the smell and also for the room.
I am still confuse, but the only thing I am sure is that it is not acceptable not to cook on a boat of 28 feet!!?
I hoep you will reply again,
thank you anyway.

"Cooking", Yea, "food", my favorite thing, so of course I had to do it on a 15' sport ! What I did was buy a webber charcoal grill (the small one). We used to use it at the dock, or buzz out to a little sand bar by me, and "Beach it". Sometimes I'd cook Under way. It had a locking lid and vents you could lock on top and bottom, i would just throw a few "Match lite" brickettes in there and I was good to go. i used to flip the cover to the front anchor locker and use that as my table "Burgers, hot dogs etc. were done on board, or on the beach, or at the dock. we would sometimes be anchored in a lagoon and the "Booze cruise" (party boats that do sunset cruises at dusk through the back bays here) would chug by and would get a wiff of me Flashing the "shrimp Scampi" on the grill LOL, it was a lot of fun, you just had to keep the grill WAY up in the front well away from the fuel tank (obviously this could only be done on very calm evenings in the back bays). The only problem with the grill was the legs were NOT stainless steel, everything else was porceline covered, so the legs finally rotted off. You can get very small stoves at www.campmor.com, cook outside the cabin, there's more room, and its more fun. The trick was to "Prep" as much at home as you could.
