Where can I get a bimini for my 13' (1976 or so)? I've looked on several and have trouble with them. Also, the prices range from the $200s to over $650. What is a reasonable price for a sunbrella top with stainless hardware?

CES, that's a nice boat. The bimini is exactly what I'm looking for. What are the dimensions (L W H). I see you have the mounts on the flat part of the gunwhale. Are all the tops mounted that way?
I did check with iboats and they wanted over $650 for a bimini with Sunbrella fabric and stainless steel hardware. Is that the going rate?

Custom canvass work is expensive, all boat's are a little bit different, some folk's can buy a top on line and it fit's pretty well, other's do that and it does NOT fit so well (on the same model boat). For quality canvass work look for "Triple stitched" seams (you may have to ask for that), it fit's better, and last's longer than one off the shelf. It's like buying a suit off the rack, of course a "Tailor" will fit you better, you at least want "Sunbrella" fabric, and stainless hardware.

Thanks!!
I went to
www.Iboats.com and bought the top there. Here is the part number of my top from the sales invoice: 4663S Sharkskin Top & Boot (Shark Blue) I went with aluminum posts and didn't use Sunbrella fabric, I used another type fabric. When I get home this afternoon, I'll measure the distance between the posts and find out the fabric for you.

John, I bought a bimini from iboats for my Outrage this year for $220. I went with the Sharkskin and aluminum and have been very happy.

Thank you all for your informative advise. Since I'm on the Connecticut coast I probably should go for the highest quality materials. Salt water does take a toll on stuff. I'll wait to get the dimensions from CES and then measure my boat to make sure they will fit. We have similar boats.
