On this Day of all Days;
I will once again offer Homages and Respects for all the personal family members, friends and acquaintances that have fallen of late and in the past conflicts for the cause that they did believe in.
What is presently at stakes is clearly our Ideology and Way Of Life.
I do feel a bit stern presently but still have the spirit of the Poppy.
Lest We Forget;
And upon being called;
I will be there to be counted.
A soldier's way is ever a Debt Of Gratitude To Us All.
With All Due Respects...

for all those who gave their last full measure of devotion for freedom.

It is a debt that can never be repaid.

For the last bunch of "Thanksgiving" Holiday's, I have not been able to eat my Turkey dinner at all, I just kinda mush it around my plate. I'm alway's thinking that it's about 4 AM in the mid-east, and right now someone's in a U.S. Tank with a cup of instant coffee stuck to their lip, doing their job but, wishing that they were home. Our "Vet's" can never be re-paid, or given enough benifit's for OUR freedom !

"UNITED WE STAND" !

A few years ago I took the family on a vacation to Cape May NJ. The hotel we were staying at had a bunch of soldiers staying there as well. The day we were leaving, there was a soldier at the desk signing out. She was shipping out to Iraq and my son, at the time 5 years old, walked up to her, saluted, and said "thank you for keeping me an my family safe". Well I don't think there was a dry eye in that hotel lobby. If I had been thinking clearly, I would have snapped the photo. It was a Life magazine front cover shot if ever there was any.

A big salute to ALL veterans, past and present, for offering all you have.
