How do I add photos to a forum posting? Sorry about asking a question that has probablly asked a million times. I did attempt to look for information about how to add photos to a forum posting but did not seem to find an actual instruction except not to use photobucket.

The best place for photos is in your personal page.

It is acceptable to put one photo, or a link to a photo, in a post to get your point across but when you say photos, that would worry me a photos is plural......
You can also put a link to your photo album that might be located somewhere else on the Internet but that is just a link.

The forum areas are not designed to host more than a couple of photos per entire thread. They just slow everything down and then everyone wants to post more photos which then gets carried away...

Hope this helps.

I wanted to post two pictures, one of a high pressure, and one of a low pressure fuel filter so that responders can better evaluate my situation and respond. If I post links from photobucket do I simply post the link or do I have to add a prefix and and sufix like on the Continuous Wave site?

What's a continuous wave...? Is that like a Tsunami? or a Surfing movie?

Most all sites on the Internet use standard coding. The link icons are at the bottom of this window that provide automatic linking for you.
is for a link and [img] is for an online image....
Hover your mouse over the link before clicking on it and it will give you a description of what the link is going to do for you.

Hope this helps.
