re: restoration of a '72 Whaler
I tried doing a search and couldn't find the answer - Someone told me Awlgrip "seafoam" was the correct shade of blue to paint the interior of old Whalers, but that color appears to be more of a lt green than the original BW blue (whose hue fluctuated slightly).

Can anyone advise?

Thanx in advance,
Filth

Hey Filthy,
I ran into the same problem with Ultratuff <--- the spray in liner, they say they have a Boston Whaler Blue ... But when the sample came it was "Way" to green! I chose to go with their water park blue.... even though its way to "Blue"...
Good luck...

Does anyone have the spec for the blue used in the 40th anniversary edition 13' sport? Finding that spec would be a great place start since with modern manufactoring I am sure there is a very specific formula or off the shelf color choosen for that hull. If you find that info you have your answer.

Maybe an email to Chuck Bennett at whaler customer relations is in order.
