Although the season is still going full bore, its finally getting out of the high 90's and into the 80's, so its time to go back to work outside and finish up working on Raggedy prepping her for the "for sale block". I've been scanning the boats for sale, and only rarely do i see an older 80's vintage 25 outrage, and even rarer is one with Whaler drive, and heaven forbid, with the teak bow pulpit as well. So, i've been looking at the newer Outrages 27 and surprisingly, 28's which i was unaware there even were any and would like to hear any thoughts on the new whalers, i.e. 2000 and newer. Is there anything specific to look for, issues with the hulls etc. One thing for sure, almost all have Merc's hung on them, which is a bummer as i would have loved to found them with E-TEC's mounted, but have yet to see one :(
