For any members wanting to share photos of their Whalers or Whaler related activities, the best way to do this is to create a personal page.

Creating the personal page was super simple. I had mine done and pictures uploaded within 30 minutes of becoming a WC here.

No help this is the most difficult site I have been on to load pictures on, you need to have picture resizing built into this web site, going off this site to resize or up load pictures requires a very computer savy person to follow your instructions.

Thanks retromontauk

Email me the photos and I will resize them and send them back to you.

retromontauk, I have to agree with you. I am computer savvy and I think it is a pain. I don't have time to go re-sizing all of my pictures which are already hosted very nicely on Picasa.

Phil T. is the most helpful member on this site and always a gentleman. He has helped my a few times, with problems I couldn`t overcome. Even sent him my password, and when I checked later it was done. He is invaluable here to us non computer experts.

It's a bit hard at 1st but, when you "play" with it you'll understand it after a while (hey, even "I" finally got it right, if I can do it anybody can). You could e-mail your pictures to another member or Administrator to get them up while you learn the program, THIS IS "WHALER CENTRAL" where somebody will "ALWAYS" help you out !

Please don't be discouraged..........It does seem complicated at first.........BIggest thing you have to bear in mind is that it is very specific in what the uploads require and you cannot deviate from it in the slightest way or it will reject your imput. (ie, if it ask for .jpg files don't enter .jpeg or .bmp or any other.........they won't work)

C'mon guys, it's not that hard to do if you follow the directions Joe provides. I'm not computer savvy at all and I was able to post mine in a Personal page, project page and a photo album.

If after reading Joe's directions and you're still haveing a problem, let the Whaler Central folks help you out.....we're a pretty friendly group of folks on here.

I finally got off my lazy duff and between resizing last night and posting tonight as I had some spare time it could not have taken me but maybe twenty minutes total. Every step is pretty straightforward and the instructions are very easy to follow. Just make sure when you go to save the page, you set it as ONLINE in the drop-down box above the editing field!
