I have owned a vintage (blue interior) 16' 9" Boston Whaler for about 25 years. I am looking for a new rub rail, it is white - about 4 inches wide with no metal and is glued on with 2 ss screws at the transom. Is there still a source for these? I bought a replacement one a few years ago through a B.Whaler club that is now defunct. This replacement one has a lot of mold on in and I don't seem to be able to clean it. Any help would be appreciated. Jim Norton

I spoke to Sue at Twin Cities last week about the same white original rub rail for my '68 Sakonnet. She e-mailed me back the following:

"Whaler currently only sells the 3-piece rubrail kits. As for the 1-piece L-molding White Rubrail....Yes, there is a vender out east in Mass. that sells it. CMI (781) 337-0733"

Hope this helps.
