A while back I made new acquaintance I met through my brother-in-law, small world, he has a 1985 Outrage 18. It originally was owned by an Auto Exec who kept in the summer on Grosse Isle, an island community in near the mouth Detroit River at Lake Erie, in the winters it was kept in Florida. My new acquaintance bought it in 1995, started it once on the muffs and then put it in his barn, he still hasn't had it in the water....I'm working on him to that end.
Anyway the previous owner had sunbrella gunwhale covers fabricated to protect the wood from UV Rays, etc. The boat as in the photo's is dirty/dusty right now, but it is in really magnificent shape. A while ago I read a thread(either here or on continuouswave) about how to protect the gunwhales form exposure, so I thought I'd post these photos I took of the covers. Please excuse the photo quality as I took them with my cell phone camera, I'll get some better ones soon

EDIT:
Those photobucket links don't work properly. Another reason why we don't like photobucket or other free image hosting services.
It is much better to put ONE link to your entire album like the link below rather than links that DO NOT work.

If you were to make an album just for the gunwale covers than the link would show just those photos in that album...
Sorry but PhotoBucket STINKS in my opinion...

I have seen similar gunwale covers like that before.
Great idea if you keep your Outrage outside with no other protection from the weather.
