I know this is really nothing compared all the hardcore restoration guys cutting and pouring but since it's all I have....

So this E-TEC repower which has taken awhile but it's a process isn't it. We are close to having this boat back - finally. I'm pretty excited as today I stopped by the shop to encourage the process and was shown the new iCommand panel.

I was expecting just a plain old black panel. I was mourning the loss of the BW logo and the pin-stripping but I figured the iCommand would be enough.

My "man" Pat is doing a super neat job. It's a very short clip but you can see the new iCommands and the detail Pat has put into my re-power. I don't believe I would have received had such attention if I'd tried to save a few by going to Ed's. Can't wait to have it in the water.

Here's the vid - It's my first YouTube attempt/upload: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sCmQgh...CmQgh4KCs0

Got the logo back and a it's Loooveeelllyyy!

I have actually been wondering if you had gotten back in the water yet..............That is a fantastic looking dash layout and it does look like a first class job........Any idea as to when you'll be strutting throiugh the water with that new ETEC bringing up the rear?

Tom,

I know I'm dying here. It's not his fault. I took forever to really say "let's do it" and was right at the beginning of the season so he got flooded with work orders Then his loser helpers (don't they know about the economy?) quit on two separate occasions.

He said he'll start next week.
Everything is in the shop so it just needs to be assembled.

I'm really happy with the quality of this panel as I haven't lost any original "feel" what with the logo. Once I'm zooming over the water all will be forgotten and you will "see' it hit the water here first. A lot of WhalerCentral people took the time to weigh in on the re-power, so I owe them a first look.

Can'ardly'wait.

Glad to hear your ordeal is about over and the ramp is in sight. You've seemed to have kept a great attitude thoughout.
Enjoy!

Shop's are very "BUSY" right now, work load's change daily. I'm always "Twistin on the Hook", when I have the boat there too. Feel's like "Forever".
