Thread subject: Whaler Central - Boston Whaler Boat Information and Photos :: Decarb 1986 Johnson 90hp

Hey guys - How do I access the carbs on my 86 Johnson 90hp? It looks like I need to pull some bolts on the front of the motor, but there's a gasket there - and that does not seem right.

I know - I should buy a manual, but I was hoping to do this today.

Matt,

You need to remove the Air Box which does have a gasket between the carbs and the air box.
