I am putting new a new gas tank in my 83 revenge 25 I want to post it in with starboard, has anyone else done this?

rather than foaming the tank in I have heard of people using strips of starboard to support the tank. This way there is an air space around the tank.

I have read that if you use Starboard brand material, it requires a special adhesive and 5200 et al. will not adhere. While it is a good material, just use the right adhesive.
